Advice, planning and assembly of high quality strands, wires & cables

We assemble individual strands, wires and multi-core sheathed cables. We can process and assemble all common cable types from all manufacturers to special cables. Strands, wires and sheathed cables are cut, stripped and assembled according to your specifications, drawings or sample cables. Manufacturers, cross sections and insulation materials of the cables to be processed play no role for us in the assembly. Depending on the cross-section, we can cut strands and wires from a length of 5mm. For stripping on both sides, the cut length must be chosen accordingly. All strands, wires, sheathed cables, contacts and connectors (including custom-made products) available on the market can be processed, assembled and labeled with us.

What is a braid?

Stranded wires consist of a multitude of thin copper wires that form a bundle with a light twist. The individual copper wires of the strand can be bare, tinned or silver-plated depending on the application. Bare copper wire has the disadvantage that the surface corrodes and thus loses its conductivity. Stranded wires with tinned copper wires do not have this disadvantage and are also easier to tin and solder. For special applications such as antenna, auto, measurement and medical technology, there are strands with a silver-plated surface. Silver-plated strands conduct better and are therefore irreplaceable for certain areas of application.

Possible uses of strands

Because of their flexibility and break resistance, strands are used in almost all electrical and electronic devices and assemblies. For special areas of application such as automotive, aircraft or robot technology, there are specially developed cables and strands that meet the high requirements for flexibility, break resistance and durability.
The most common insulation materials are: PVC, LDPE, HDPE, PA, silicone, PTFE, FEP, ETFE, PI, PP, PUR, TPE-E, TPE-O, TPE-S, SIR, EVA & halogen-free. The most common certifications are: VDE, UL, CSA, BS, GOST, IC, IEC, MIL
